Teamer Spotlight: North Sydney United

Australia is our destination this week as we pay a visit to North Sydney United.

Manager Andy Marren has been using Teamer for three years to organise his football players ahead of matches and training. He told us about his experiences using the app.

When did you first sign up for Teamer?

Circa 2014.

Why did you start using Teamer?

We were using a combination of email and a google application and it was all just a bit too much double handling.

How does Teamer help you and your team?

Once set up (names, email and mobiles and everyone has accepted and opted in) it makes it very easy to invite people to games and keep track of how many you have for each game. I particularly like the ‘alert all’ cancellation feature as again this was done by email historically. It makes it much more certain advice has got out.

Why is Teamer better than texting/emailing/calling?

As above. It’s a one stop shop for communications once everyone is correctly set up.

Which elements of Teamer do you use the most?

Game or training invites.

What are your favourite aspects of using Teamer?

Ease of inviting the squad to games and training and one click to cancel if the game is off.

Teamer is available to any sports team in the world and is 100% free. Sign your team up today!
