Serbian lower league striker's blunder goes viral with new contender for miss of the century
Being involved in grassroots football, we're used to seeing our fair share of bad misses... but this one from the Serbian fourth tier is going to take some beating.
The culprit is Lokomotiva striker Milan "Lemi" Djuricic, whose miss against FC Turbina in the Belgrade Zone league on Sunday has become an internet sensation.

Capitalising on a mix-up at the back, Djuricic nicked the ball from the FC Turbina goalkeeper dribbled slowly towards an empty goal before attempting to stab home from no more than half a yard out, only for the ball to bobble as he struck it, to send it sailing over the bar. Priceless.
Djuricic's blushes were spared in the end as Lokomotiva won 2-1 to keep themselves top of the league table on goal difference.
