Is this Sunday League classic the worst goal ever?

We’ve come across this fantastic Vine of quite possibly the worst goal to grace the esteemed pitches of Sunday League football.

A scuffed penalty off the post, massively sliced volley rebound onto the onrushing forward’s knee, sending it dribbling towards the keeper who falls over the ball as it trickles into the net.

Talk about a comedy of errors. So bad it’s brilliant!

Thanks to The Football Cafe and Breathe Sport for bringing this little beauty to our attention.

Have you ever seen a goal like it? If you’ve got one to rival, please share the link!
