Hundreds of amateur football leagues across the UK received a boost this month with the news that Julian Bauer has joined the Club Website team from Football Mitoo.
Julian, who designed, wrote and maintained football.mitoo.co.uk for the last 14 years, brings his enormous wealth of experience to head the League Website development team.
When he started Football Mitoo in 1999, Julian blazed a trail for the grassroots community when even the Football Association did not publish results below the top of the football pyramid.
Today, over 340 leagues use Club Website's league service, which launched a new and improved platform on desktop and mobile last month, and Julian is excited to bring his expertise and experience to benefit the ever-growing number of leagues using the service.
"I'm delighted to join the team at Club Website," he said. "Together, with our combined expertise, we will move forward and establish the best league and club management software available for grassroots and amateur football.
"It's a very exciting time for me personally to be part of such an ambitious project."
Club Website director Richard Stenson said: "We are delighted to welcome Julian to the Club Website team and are extremely excited with his appointment. Julian will help us to further enhance our excellent league platform and continue to serve the millions of people involved within UK football."
