Are you a student looking for valuable work experience within the football industry?
The Football Foundation – the UK’s largest sports charity – is offering a year-long work placement to two undergraduate students in full-time education within its Communications and External Relations team.
The vacancies are both on a 12-month sandwich placement based in central London, filling the following roles (click the relevant link for more information):
The successful candidates will experience a unique year-in-industry placement in the exciting world of football and in a friendly environment.
This is your chance to work with famous names from the world of sport while delivering high-profile work that will only serve to enhance your CV. You will be supported with on-the-job training and receive guidance from experienced colleagues.
The Football Foundation funds the development of better sports facilities for communities across the country with money provided by the Premier League, The FA and the Government (via Sport England).
Launched in July 2000, the Football Foundation has so far supported more than 9,000 community sports projects worth around £1billion.
The successful applicants will be on a suitable sandwich degree course requiring a year-in-industry or on a gap-year prior to starting a degree course (but with a university place confirmed).
