Scotland United – all the latest from the SFA

Scotland United is a new monthly magazine from the Scottish FA.

It looks at all of the major football events from north of the border, from national team news to grassroots development, refereeing and governance of the game.

October’s pilot episode (below) sees Scotland legend Kenny Dalglish give his thoughts on the Scottish FA Grassroots Awards, while there is a feature on the SFA’s new £15m Regional Performance Schools project.

Away from the grassroots game, national coach Craig Levein gives an exclusive, in-depth interview that includes reaction to Scotland’s opening two World Cup qualifiers and his thoughts on Darren Fletcher’s return to the national squad for the upcoming fixtures with Wales and Belgium.

Scotland women’s captain Gemma Fay talks about their upcoming Euro 2013 play-off against Spain, while there is a round-up of recent Under-21 and Under-16 action.

“There is so much positive news surrounding the Scottish FA at all levels of the game that often goes under the radar,” said presenter Rob Maclean.

“Scotland United provides exclusive access to the main players but also focuses on the unsung heroes, without whom our game would not grow.”
