FAW extends Club Website partnership

The Football Association of Wales (FAW) has extended its relationship with Club Website beyond the existing agreement with the Welsh Football Trust.

This partnership is central to the FAW’s ongoing support for football in Wales and enables all affiliated leagues and clubs to host their very own website completely free of charge.

Clubs and leagues across Wales can register for their free website here at clubwebsite.co.uk.

Simple to setup, each website provides all the tools for any Welsh league or club to create a professional online home with a minimum of effort.

Our website services are proven to improve communications and help leagues and clubs raise additional revenue by increasing sponsorship potential.

Additionally, they provide two other excellent revenue-generating features:

* Club Cashback – enables clubs to raise funds whenever members shop online via their club website

* Club Shop – allows clubs to sell their own merchandise directly to club members

The service requires no technical knowledge and provides the best possible home for leagues and clubs to manage their day-to-day activities online.

Over the coming weeks there will be additional features added to Club Website’s services.

These include an FAW news feed direct to each affiliated league or club website, allowing members to keep up to date with all of the latest news and information direct from the FAW.

Ian Davis, Head of Commercial and Marketing at the FAW, said: “The Football Association of Wales is delighted to extend our partnership with Club Website.

“Using the free services on offer, clubs and leagues across Wales can improve communications and generate much-needed funds.

“The partnership is central to our support of football at all levels in Wales and will continue to benefit the game at grassroots level.”

Club Website Director, Richard Stenson, said: “Through our partnership with the FAW we can continue to work with and support football in Wales.

“Our website platforms allow every club and league, no matter what their size, to create a professional online home and bring their members closer together.

“And by helping to put money back into the game, we’re delighted to support football where it is needed most: at the grassroots level.”
