Kick It Out is running a number of consultation evenings around the country to help groups and individuals find out more about their Mentoring and Leadership Project.
The events are aimed at local grassroots clubs and community organisations looking to develop the people they are working with or play a bigger role in the football industry.
The Mentoring and Leadership Project has been developed by Kick It Out – football’s inclusion and equality campaign – in partnership with the Equalities and Human Rights Commission to address the under-representation of diverse communities in the football industry.
The first event takes place in Birmingham this evening, with the second and third events scheduled for Newcastle and Bristol over the week ahead. Full details are as follows:
Leading The Way Birmingham
Tuesday 28 September, 6pm-9pm

The event will include a panel discussion with invited guests Mark Walters, Bob Hazell, Lincoln Moses & Brendon Batson, alongside Birmingham County FA representatives.
Leading The Way Newcastle
Thursday 30th September, 6pm-9pm
Live Theatre Newcastle, Broad Chare, Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3DQ
The event will include a panel discussion with guests Olivier Bernard and Earl Barrett alongside Northumberland County FA representatives.
Leading The Way Bristol
Tuesday 5th October, 6pm-9pm
The Watershed, 1 Canon’s Road, Harbourside, Bristol, BS1 5TX
The event will include a panel discussion with guests Earl Barrett, Carl Saunders and members of the local grassroots football community.
