Club Website heading to Birmingham this weekend!

Club Website footballClub Website will be hitting the road this weekend so, if you live in the Birmingham area, why not come and pay us a visit?

The Club Website team will be paying a visit to Senneleys Park for the Sunday morning games, before heading for a post-match drink in the city centre in the afternoon.

This is all part of our Football Revolution which we launched this summer and, since then, we’ve been wanting to find out what matters to you lot out there – the people at the heart of the grassroots game.

A lot of you told us that there’s an issue with the standard of facilities available in the grassroots game, so we wanted to find out more.  It turns out that half of you have to put up with facilities that are not up to scratch while many of you don’t even have any changing rooms to use for your matches.

You’ve been sending us your stories, pictures and videos of the facilities that you put up with and now we want to get one step closer and pay some of them a visit, starting this Sunday. Our first port of call is Birmingham, just down the road from where the Football Revolution all began.

Senneleys ParkSince announcing a few weeks ago that we’ll be paying the second city a visit, we’ve heard a few dodgy things about the facilities and pitches at Senneleys Park in Bartley Green, so that’s where we’ll be heading on Sunday morning to take a look for ourselves!

We want to see exactly what sort of state the facilities are in and – weather permitting – speak to those players, managers and spectators who play at Senneleys and find out what they think about them. We’ll then take up the case on behalf of those who use the park and try to get something done about the issue, as we’re trying to do right across the country!

So if you’re due to play in Senneleys Park this Sunday, keep an eye out for the Club Website boys and pop over and say hello.  We’ll have tea and coffee to keep those on the touchline warm, whilst we should also have a few treats for the players themselves.

Come on down… it will be great to see you!

Have a drink on us!

If you can’t make it to Senneleys Park in the morning, we’ll be relocating to Birmingham city centre in the afternoon.

PintWe’ll be at the Sports Cafe on Broad Street from about 3pm to chew the fat, watch the football and have a couple of drinks… the perfect Sunday afternoon!

We’d love to see any Club Website users down there and we’ll be buying a few rounds, so if you’re anywhere near Birmingham come on down and let us buy you a drink!

Hope to see you there!

Sennleys Park is a palace compared to the shack we have at Kings Norton Playing Fields just up the road in Kings Norton. I believe it could be the worst in the country. If you have time to visit both you wont be dissapointed. Let me know if you want to have a look and i will show you the sights…
