Community Football Days provide fun, free and informal activities for youngsters of all football abilities to enjoy themselves in a fun and safe environment.
This year McDonald’s, with the support of the UK Football Associations, have chosen over 50 clubs across the country to host these events.
Community Football Days are split into two categories:
Showcase Events include Inflatables, Football Ambassadors, Drop in Skills Sessions, Fun Football Activities, and ways to be involved in football.
Regional Events include Drop in Skills Sessions, Fun Football Activities, and ways to be involved in football.
The events see hundreds of young footballers and non-footballers alike, gather to enjoy the day which focuses on providing the opportunity to play football and take part in a range of football skills & drills.
The McDonald’s Football programme focuses on supporting accredited grassroots clubs and their volunteers to raise the standards of grassroots football across the UK while improving the grassroots experience for young aspiring footballers, regardless of their ability.
